The problem the Obama team has faced this primary is how to frame McCain in a way that is a logical leap for the public without creating a persona out of whole cloth or seeming to dishonor his service.  

The best way to create this frame is as always to accentuate the truth.

The Obama team should not argue with McCain on his POW status being what defines him, they should instead agree completely.  The Obama team should take his bio to it's logical conclusion.  They should remind people that he is a Heroic Prisoner Of War (NOT A WAR HERO) and we respect his sacrifice.  

While outlining the realities of having a president who is defined by his 5 years in a POW camp being tortured.

While preforming the painstaking research that led to his recent ground breaking article diagnosing Sen. Obama, Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank was exposed to and infected by chronic arrogantitis.

The tragedy doesn't end with a simple infection.  Sadly, due to his unusually low resistance to infection (caused by heightened sensitivity to "uppityness" and lack of context protection compounded by overexposure) the celebrity columnist contracted a secondary infection, lack of credibility.  

Demonstrating true courage the heroic Milbank agreed to give a graphic presentation of his condition tonight via blog chat.

There is what I consider a stellar article written on the legal basis of the RBC meeting yesterday.  I won't even try to match it word for word as it's so well done I could not do it justice.  

One excellent point it makes the RBC cannot assign delegates but they can accept a state party's delegate allocation.   The point, once the state parties presented their request for delegate seating most everything else was just for show.  Below is a small excerpt from the post, which I will link.

Below a few arguments from this excellent post.    

As I visit different Pro- Hillary blogs and sites (talk left, taylormarsh, hillaryis44, noquarter) I keep reading similar refrains from Clinton supporters and they usually fall into 3 categories.

1.  I will never vote for Obama because he of what he has done.

2.  The DNC has abandoned the people, the elite decided this contest.  I can't support the Democratic party anymore.

3.  The MSM has tried to destroy Hillary, therefore I won't support Sen. Obama.  

Instead of arguing the points I really want to try and understand your perspective.  I'm going to post a few questions about the points above and would really like to hear your thoughts.  I am not posting to argue but for understanding.  

A FL Judge tossed out the civil rights challenge to DNC rules.

The Judge said, (paraphrasing not quote) it's like baseball everyone wants to play short stop but they can't.   Everyone wants to go first but the DNC has every right to determine their process.  The solution of this issue is clearly a political issue not a judicial issue.

Judge Richard Lazarra sided with the party, saying political parties have the right to make their own rules

the lunar landing, riding on my grandpa's armrest and the racetrack were the only remaining vivid memories of my childhood, until last night.  

Now I can add a new Technicolor slo-motion childhood memory;

"baby they killed him, they killed him, why did they have to kill him?"

I have tried to remain respectful of Sen. Clinton during this process.  I have tried to understand how difficult it must be to get this close, only to come up short.  

No longer, Sen. Clinton has now gone too far to ever be rehabilitated in my eyes, ever.  

Hillary Clinton today brought up the assassination of Sen. Robert Kennedy while defending her decision to stay in the race against Barack Obama.

Here are her words

We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don't understand it," she said, dismissing calls to drop out

The context here is simply shocking, especially considering the numerous threats of Sen. Obama's life that have been received.

Obama, the first African-American to advance so far in the race for the White House, has faced threats, sources have said. Robert Kennedy, the younger brother of President John F. Kennedy, was gunned down in 1968 after winning the California primary. He had been a hero on the left for his civil rights agenda and calls to end the war in Vietnam. Barack Obama, who leads Clinton by nearly 200 delegates and has already secured a majority of pledged delegates, has been the subject of threats. Early in the campaign, the Secret Service gave him a security detail at the request of Sen. Richard Durbin (D-Illinois).

As many of you may know state Senate Democratic Leader Steve Geller filed suit today to seat the Full Florida delegation.  Mr. Geller filing his suit under Voting Rights Act.  

Rather than commenting further or sharing my opinion of this person, I will let the title of my diary and the video below speak for themselves.

This should put to rest the argument that the Democratic party in FL didn't want the vote moved.  I hope you will look at those claiming otherwise in the proper light going forward.
